All serious supernatural disturbances
arise from unnatural ‘following’
of the Three Poisons intensely —
greed, hatred and delusion.
Even a rumour of an unfortunate haunting
conspired with the Three Poisons
can unfortunately ‘inspire’
the rise of an actual haunting.
A hateful myth perpetuated hatefully
can create a hateful death,
with the hateful deceased
becoming the hateful ghost.
We are but
self-fulfilling prophecies,
self-convincing believers,
self-morphing actualisers.
Be a haunting true or not,
what should truly haunt and endure,
are the timeless lessons,
behind the cautionary ‘tale’.
Be a haunting false or not,
what should truly be exorcised for good,
are the Three Poisons
within humans and ghosts…
lest mere trapping, killing and banishing
only leads to future vengeance,
with negative habitual forces ongoing,
and unresolved evil karmas multiplying.
