Confusion
Beauty might lead to idealisation.
Lust might lead to objectification.
Both are confusions.
Ugliness
One’s great beauty,
even if humble and discreet,
can bring out others’ great ugliness of jealousy.
Rumours
There can be many rumours
but there is only one truth,
whether known or not (yet).
Speculation
The truth is neither defined
by one’s mere speculation,
nor the strong opinions of many.
Tragedy
The tragedy of attachment
to self-fulfilling beliefs in the terrible
is that it can create the worst in reality.
Demonisation
The demonisation of others
is ironically self-demonisation,
especially with oneself unaware of this.
Resentment
To keep living well without resentment
is always the better approach,
and the best ‘revenge’.
