There is Right Mindfulness (正念),
aligned to goodness and purity,
and there is evil mindfulness (邪念),
aligned to greed (with lust), hatred and delusion.
How ‘deranged’ is one
who is ‘mindful’ enough
to be devious intentionally?
How ‘disturbed’ is one
who is ‘mindful’ enough
to be lie cunningly?
How ‘insane’ is one
who is ‘mindful’ enough
to be r_pe sadistically?
How ‘mad’ is one
who is ‘mindful’ enough
to be kill violently?
How ‘crazy’ is one
who is ‘mindful’ enough
to keep repeating the above?
(The prolific serial killer
in the true crime story
withdrew his insanity plea,
which would be just another lie.)

As Stonepeace put it,
‘Those who keep lying to others
keep lying to themselves too,
tricking themselves into thinking
they can keep getting away,
until truth proves otherwise.’
