Why Should I Keep Learning Buddhism?

Question: Why should we keep learning the Buddha’s teachings (Dharma)?

Answer: Since the Dharma is for guiding us towards the True Happiness of Buddhahood, and since we have yet to attain it, it makes perfect sense to keep learning it, so as to practise it better. After learning it well, we can share it well to benefit others too. The Dharma is too practical to not be focused on.

Ongoing learning is also to keep stepping out of our false ‘comfort’ zones, which keep us unhappy; so as to keep advancing towards the true peace and bliss from aligning to reality. We will never know what we have missed till we attain it. The Dharma is too precious to not be learnt.

There should not be learning randomly in bits and pieces from uncertain sources, which can be inadequate and even dangerous. Especially when there are courses by qualified teachers for systematic and comprehensive learning, with some available in the Courses section here. The Dharma is too important to be learnt wrongly.
