Question: Who should I blame for my unhappiness?
Answer: The main persons to take responsibility are always ourselves. This is so as our unhappiness is caused by our past personally created evil (negative) karmas ripening now.
However, we also create new karmas now, with our choice of attitude. Again, we are the key agents of our joy and suffering, with the abilities to change our thoughts, words and actions in response.
Even the presence of others who seem to ‘give’ us conditions for ‘grief’ are due to our karmas, (even as they create their own karmas too), while the manner in which we interact with them will decide if we magnify or mitigate our un/happiness.
Mere finger-pointing of others will never truly improve our lives, while it is with improving of ourselves spiritually, with generosity over greed, compassion over hatred, and wisdom over delusion, that life will be bettered.
