若见空钵,当愿众生,
其心清净,空无烦恼。
若见满钵,当愿众生,
具足成满,一切善法。

If seeing empty almsbowls,
[reflect that] ‘May sentient beings,
their minds be [clear and] pure,
empty [of and] without afflictions.’
If seeing full almsbowls,
[reflect that] ‘May sentient beings,
[be] complete* [in] accomplishment,
[of] all good** dharmas.’***
