A true race is
for competing with yourself,
for outdoing your previous self.
A real race is
for winning without becoming egoistic,
for losing without becoming despondent.
A noble race is
for training focus of attitude, strength and technique,
for dissolving ‘self’ and ‘others’ in the moment.
The actual race is
for outrunning death in time non-physically;
for outrunning rebirth in time spiritually.
