Trolls were thought to troll humans,
which led to them being demonised,
with humans trolling them then.
The world is complex
because things are usually
not so straightforward black or white.
Just as there are
good and evil humans,
there can be good and evil ‘others’ too.
It is all too lazy, wrong and unfair
to judge all as the same
by looking at just some of them.
In the quest to be righteous,
may we not be too anxious,
lest we become self-righteous.
If one is not a demon,
one can only ‘become’ one,
when demonised by another.
