【1】见毁戒者，劝化安止，令住持戒；

[1] Seeing those destroying the precepts, encourage them to be transformed, to have peaceful abiding, for enabling abiding in upholding of the precepts.
[2] [Seeing] those far departing from right views and falling into all [wrong] views, encourage them to be transformed, to have peaceful abiding, for enabling abiding in right views.
[3] [Seeing] those with scattered minds, encourage them to be transformed, to have peaceful abiding, for enabling abiding in concentrated minds.
[4] [Seeing] those without majestic conduct, encourage them to be transformed, to have peaceful abiding, for enabling abiding in noble majestic conduct.
