Answer: Will you do your best to stop breaking precepts?
Question: Yes, but what if I still break them habitually and unmindfully?
Answer: Again, will you truly keep doing your best to stop breaking them?
Question: Yes.
Answer: Then, there is hope yet, for Pure Land is for those who wish to become pure, even if they are not perfectly pure yet, but not those who keep giving themselves leeway to do evil.
Question: How should I practise?
Answer: Have daily sincere practice of repentance for past broken precepts, and be mindful of the Buddha’s name (阿弥陀佛: Āmítuófó) with the Three Provisions for reaching his Pure Land: https://purelanders.com/2018/02/08/the-three-provisions. If dying with much evil karma from broken precepts bearing fruit, with guilt and fear suffering, it might be challenging to have the Three Provisions then. Thus, from now onwards, it is important to be strict with observation of the precepts. Your good practice on the whole will dissolve much evil karma, thus lessening all obstacles.
