见欢乐人，当愿众生，
见苦恼人，当愿众生，
获根本智，灭除众苦。

Seeing those who are joyful,
[reflect that] ‘May sentient beings,
always attain peace and bliss,
[by] joyfully making offerings to the Buddha[s].’
Seeing persons with suffering and afflictions,
[reflect that] ‘May sentient beings,
obtain [the] fundamental wisdom,
[to] eradicate all suffering.’
