灭除心头火，
提起佛前灯，
愿以大智慧，
照破众无明。
Eradicating the mind’s fires [of greed, hatred and ignorance],
lifting up, before the Buddha, [I offer] this lamp,
May [I], with great wisdom,
illuminate to shatter [the darkness of] all ignorance.
