结跏趺坐,
当愿众生,
善根坚固,
得不动地。

[When in the] lotus posture* seated,
[reflect that] ‘May sentient beings’
good roots** [be] firm and strong,
[to] attain [the] immovable ground.***

* with the left foot on the right thigh and the right foot on the left thigh for meditative practices
** or capacity for goodness and purity, free from the three poisons of greed, hatred and delusion
