因果道偈
Verses On Cause And Effect’s Paths
不信因果者，不遵佛人法，
不戒身口意，后堕三恶道。
Those who do not believe in karmic cause and effect, do not follow the Buddha’s Dharma and human laws, without abstinence in body, speech and mind, later falling into the three evil paths [of hell-beings, hungry ghosts and animals].
半信因果者，唯半畏人法，
无人注意时，趁机偷逆道。
Those who half-believe in karmic cause and effect, only half-fear human laws, when without people paying attention, seizing opportunities to secretly go against their path.
深信因果者，必定依戒法，
五八菩萨戒，迈向成佛道。
Those who deeply believe in karmic cause and effect, will definitely comply with the Precepts’ Dharma, with the Five, Eight and Bodhisattva Precepts, striding towards accomplishment of the Buddha path.
