[1] Why Provoke?
Why venture into supposedly haunted places
with so-called ‘scientific’ instruments and such,
to explore, film, enquire and speculate arbitrarily,
which is to provoke and disturb pointlessly?
[2] Why Risk?
Why risk being haunted and possessed,
to be scared sick and even driven insane,
by possibly angering malevolent spirits,
who might take offence and attack?
[3] Why Contradict?
Why crave frightening experiences
while not being ready for the terrifying,
with contradicting love-hate,
of wanting the horrible while fretting it?
[4] Why Not Help?
Why not only go with pure intentions and skills,
to guide and deliver any present wandering spirits,
to reach Āmítuófó’s (阿弥陀佛) Pure Land (净土) Of Ultimate Bliss (极乐世界),
to liberate them from their suffering once and for all?
