Poisons:
How can those
with the three poisons strong
work well with others
with the three poisons strong too?
It is a matter of time
when they trip one another
with the greed, hatred and delusion,
of one another.
Loyalty:
What the evil are truly loyal to,
are not their chiefs-in-evil,
but their own three poisons,
for their personal gains.
Even if the evil seem powerful,
they are only as ‘strong’
as their weakest links,
their three poisons, which are plentiful.
Betrayal:
Their three poisons will betray them,
let themselves down,
for not being loyal to moral integrity,
for themselves and everyone else.
Thus should they betray their poisons
by giving them up,
for fear of karmic retribution
before their poisons betray them.
Immeasurability:
But even as the chiefs-in-evil
are apprehended and punished,
others evil might fill the power vacuum,
like Mara’s position vacated filled by the next mara.
But the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
are with immeasurable compassion,
wisdom, skilful means and patience,
to guide and deliver all still.
