Ten Lessons Inspired By ‘Dampyr’

[1] ‘Fake’ It: If ‘it’ is really noble and worthy, you might as well ‘fake it’ sincerely, till you really make it.

[2] Worth It: Even if you cannot make it (yet), if you get close(r) to making it, (now or later), it is still (accordingly) worth it.

[3] Exert For It: The less confidence there is to make it, the more should efforts be exerted. The more are they rewarded, the more confidence there will be to make it.

[4] Hope For It: The truest hope comes from the truest and greatest potential within, which is Buddha-nature, our ability to become Buddhas.

[5] Realise It: Since we truly have Buddha-nature, it is not so much of ‘faking it’ to become Buddhas, but making it truly real by realising it.

[6] Faith In It: The first step towards living up to our Buddha-nature is to have unshakeable faith in it; to not doubt it.

[7] ‘Pride’ With It: Beyond worldly arrogance, we should have spiritual dignity in being able to be fully enlightened, thus not letting our Buddha-nature down.

[8] Align To It: Before aligning firmly with our Buddha-nature, we might switch to other ‘unBuddha’ natures. We should realign once aware that we have misaligned.

[9] Choose It: For Buddhahood, we must make an ongoing string of correct choices (for our words and deeds), which include correcting wrong choices, to stay aligned.

[10] Attain It: Since we have Buddha-nature, attaining of Buddhahood is as if a matter of time. However, if we take forever to be free, we will forever be trapped.
