作恶事须防鬼神知，
干好事莫怕旁人笑。
Doing evil deeds, there ‘must’ be preventing of ghosts and gods from knowing them. [which is impossible]. Doing good deeds, there must not be fearing of other people laughing at them.
心志要苦，
意趣要乐，
气度要宏，
言动要谨。
The mind’s will must work hard, thought and purpose must be hopeful, spirit and demeanour must be great, words and actions must be cautious and prudent.
