Staying Right
Kathy encourages Antonio,
‘You stay right,
and things will work out.’
Even if they do not work out
as quickly as wished,
they will work out soon enough.
If even a seed takes time to grow,
so does good karma,
to bear sweet fruit.
With the right causes,
and the right conditions,
there will be right effects.
Not Staying Right
Antonio, however,
did not stay right,
and tried to work things out.
If hastily doing the wrong,
even if things seem to ‘work out’,
they will ‘unwork’ themselves soon enough.
If even a seed takes time to grow,
so does bad karma,
to bear bitter fruit.
With the wrong causes,
and the ‘right’ conditions,
there will be wrong effects.
