Dharma@Cinema (Take #2)

‘Enlightenment Thru Entertainment’

We will watch an interesting movie together before chatting about it. In these intriguing film discussion sessions, specially selected films are chosen for musing over, for reflecting deeply upon the universal themes portrayed. Most of all, they will serve as living mirrors for peering into our inner worlds, to help us see ourselves better in the light of the Dharma. Come and realise the ‘Golden Dharma on the Silver Screen’!

Logo: A countdown leader with eight spokes, this represents the Noble Eightfold Path featured in/directly on film. As the eighth art that imitates life, the golden Dharma for enlightenment can also be found through entertainment on the silver screen. The radiating of light clockwise represents the turning of the wheel of the Dharma, as it sheds light on the drama of Samsara.
