In strange worlds cosmic and fantastical,
with strange alien sentient beings,
the existential issues are still familiar.
We are still mixed bags
of good and evil,
with potential for purity.
Even who seems very venomous,
who is even named Venom,
is not always venomous.
Even those not named Venom
can have various combinations of the Three Poisons,
greed, hatred and delusion.
Even who named Venom
can have various combinations of the Three Antidotes,
generosity, compassion and wisdom.
And we will dance on, trip on, and get on,
stepping back and forth with good and evil,
till we step up, transcend to purity.
