An enlightened smile
reveals that all is well

The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
are always smiling,
as they are always blissful,
having perfect wisdom about all.
The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
are always smiling,
as they are always calm,
having perfect peace while helping all.
The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
are always smiling,
as they are always doing their best joyfully,
having perfect compassion for all.
Why are we then,
not at least smiling more,
like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas,
with more wisdom, peace and compassion now?
