The ‘It’s Nothing (Yet Something) Personal’ Paradox

We either make more friends
or enemies of present strangers,
while it is hard to make friends
and enemies strangers again.

‘It’s nothing personal’…
how a stranger might be rude to you,
since s/he does not know you personally,
and is probably crude to other strangers too.

If it was just ‘random’,
let’s not take it too hard,
for it was the expression
of your ‘luck’ of the draw?

Let’s feed no fuel to the fire,
by kicking up a fuss with animosity,
which creates actual negative karma;
let’s do what to be done wisely.

BUT…

‘It’s something personal’…
how a stranger might be rude to you,
though s/he does not know you personally,
yet was crude to you specifically.

It has to be exact karma,
but let’s not take it too hard,
for it was the exhaustion
of your past negative karma.

Let’s feed no fuel to the fire,
by kicking up a fuss with animosity,
which creates more negative karma;
let’s do what to be done kindly.

We either make more friends or enemies
of present friends and enemies,
while it is hard to make friends
and enemies strangers again.
