The best test is
that you pass despite
the most testing conditions.– Stonepeace | Books
Guanyin Bodhisattva sits upon
the most craggy rocks on the sea.
Yet she is smiling, ever at ease
with what seems ‘uncomfortable’.
She is totally at peace,
one with her surroundings
in an open and selfless way,
yet always mindful and caring.
Where does she really begin,
and where do the rocks end?
Just as her robes adapt to them,
so does her form and mind to all.
True grace is calmness and clarity
when facing the vicissitudes of life,
for you still can control your attitude
which will change your circumstances.
May we let go of needless attachment
to our bodies, minds and the world,
to be liberated, one with her essence,
her great compassion and wisdom.
The best ease is
that you have despite
the worst ‘dis-ease’.– Stonepeace | Books
