Grasping At Water

If someone who can’t swim falls into the ocean,
that person will grasp at the water and sink like a rock.

A good swimmer who has trained knows how to relax
and become one with the vast ocean.

Learning how to swim takes practice,
and it helps to have some guidance as we begin.
It is the same way with training our minds.

  • We are already in the ocean, and we are already sinking in the deep ocean of greed, desires and delusions. Everyday, we choose to feed ourselves with greed, desire and delusion cause us to sink even faster. Everyday, we give away all opportunities for us to remove our greed, desires and delusions. Life is short. We don’t know how much time we have before we drown ourselves with greed, desires and delusions. We should grab every learning opportunity to improve ourselves.
